Miramar

Miramar Beach is a quiet, family friendly village, with mainly national tourism, which makes it an authentic Spanish destination, even in peak season the beach, restaurants and bars are not overcrowded! There are no chain hotels or high rise apartment blocks.

The white sandy beach is on your doorstep, it’s enough to cross the quiet street and the palm-tree lined promenade stretches along the beach from village to village and the fine sand and clean waters are right in front of you.

During the summer months there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment to enjoy. Off season the choice may be smaller but you may just have the entire beach to yourself!

Miramar Town offers a fantastic outdoorsy public pool, recently built and open during the summer months to enjoy as an alternative to the beach relax.

Oliva

Just 6 kms south of Miramar you will find the market town of Oliva, famous for its Friday morning tree lined market, where you can buy everything you’ll need like fruit & veg, clothes, and gifts to take home. Oliva also has one of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches in Valencia, that stretches for several kms towards Denia to the south and Gandia to the north.

OLIVA NOVA GOLF COURSE

If golf is your thing, then Oliva Nova Golf Course is a short 20 min drive south of Miramar. This beautiful golf course was designed and built by Seve Ballesteros. It is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120, the main characteristic of which is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles. Check out more details here.

Gandía Town, a ducal city, has an illustrious past, as can be appreciated in its historic part, where the mark of Duke Juan de Borja remains in the form of important buildings like the Ducal Palace, the Collegiate Church and the Old University. Its festivals, some of them declared of tourist interest, and its typically Valencian cuisine are some of the other attractions offered by this town.
